What happens in the first session? +
The first session is primarily a getting-to-know-you conversation. We'll talk about what's brought you to therapy, your history, your goals, and what you hope to achieve. It's also an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if you feel comfortable working together. By the end, we'll outline a proposed care plan.
How long does therapy take? +
It varies by individual, the nature of the concern, and how deeply you want to work. Some people see meaningful change in 8–12 sessions. Others benefit from longer-term work. We review progress regularly so you're always aware of where you stand. The goal is always to help you become independent, not dependent on therapy.
Is everything I share kept confidential? +
Absolutely. Everything shared in our sessions is strictly confidential. The only exceptions are situations where there is risk of serious harm to you or someone else — as mandated by professional ethics — which would always be discussed with you openly.
Do you offer online/virtual sessions? +
Yes! We offer both in-person sessions in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi and secure online video sessions. Many clients find online therapy just as effective and more convenient. You can specify your preference when booking.
What is the fee for a session? +
Session fees vary depending on the type and duration. Your first session comes with a 20% discount. Please get in touch via WhatsApp or the booking form to discuss fees — we believe in transparent, accessible mental healthcare.
What age groups do you work with? +
We work with children (from around age 6), adolescents, adults, and older adults. We also offer family therapy where multiple family members attend together. If you're unsure whether your situation fits, just reach out — we're happy to discuss.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule? +
We understand life happens. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel without a fee. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours may be charged. Please contact us via WhatsApp as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
Is therapy the right choice for me? +
If you're experiencing emotional distress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, trauma, or simply feel stuck — therapy can help. You don't need to be in "crisis" to benefit. Many people use therapy as a proactive investment in their wellbeing. If you're unsure, book a free consultation and we'll figure it out together.
